Janice founded Waterman Hurst, a groundbreaking career services company that provides branding, coaching and promotion solutions to C-level executives. Establishing a very high bar for service delivery, goal achievement, integrity and discretion, she has provided day to day consultation to Board members, CEOs, and C-level clients to prepare for advancement, develop influencing and executive presence skills, navigate careers at the top of companies and seek opportunities that provide a better fit. Today, Janice remains the lead coach for CEO clients, while overseeing career services and coaching delivery teams. Janice has recruited a high-powered team of advisors to leverage for private clients and client companies.

Prior to founding Waterman Hurst, Janice held corporate officer roles within two public companies with general management and P&L responsibility, as well as functional responsibility for Operations, Marketing, Strategic Planning, IT, Customer Service, Legal, Human Resources, Quality, and Process Reengineering. As a member of the executive board at global mid-market companies as well as within mega firms including Toshiba America Systems, and Zeneca Pharmaceuticals, Janice successfully recruited officers, CEOs and board members as a member of public board search committees.

Immediately prior to founding Waterman Hurst, Janice was among the top 5 paid executives at Integrated Systems, Inc, a NASDAQ traded company and was recognized by the San Francisco Chronicle as one of the top ten highest paid women in Silicon Valley.

Janice is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s General Management Curriculum and holds a B.A. from the University of California and an M.S. in Career Development.
